The L.A. Caribbean Ensemble™ is Southern California’s premier event band - where urban meets island.   Founded and led by Los Angeles based percussionist, drummer, and producer Jason Lee Bruns, this is NOT your typical steel drum band.  And to no surprise, considering the flavorful twist these five (young, sexy & hip), hi-caliber musicians have been treating to a classy variety of genres for nearly a decade.  You'll be humming along to their original Latin-Caribbean arrangements of reggae classics, island favorites, jazz standards and timeless pop hits.  Never too loud or soft this ensemble is always the right energy and volume.   So whether you want to get people dancing or enjoy a chill atmosphere, their music will entertain in the most advantageous way.  Because of this matchless style they have been invited to perform at a select array of venues, including celebrity parties, jazz festivals, corporate events, and even the occasional wedding.   It is no wonder this silk-quality ensemble has been referred to by the acronym "lace".
